Is it secure/risky to use?

Yes, it's completely secure. We don't have access to your Instagram account or credentials. The extension works locally in your browser and only tracks publicly visible following activity.

Do you store my Instagram password?

No, we never store, collect, or have access to your Instagram password or login credentials.

Chrome Extension:

The extension works entirely within your browser using your existing Instagram session. Since you're already logged into Instagram, the extension simply operates alongside your active session - no passwords or login information ever pass through our system.

Web Application:

The web app operates completely independently from your Instagram account. It doesn't require any Instagram login credentials or access to your account whatsoever.

What happens to my data?

All tracking data is stored securely on our servers with encryption and is only accessible to you. We never sell or share your data with third parties.

Can I track multiple accounts?

Yes! You can track as many Instagram accounts as you want. Simply add each account you want to monitor, and we'll track their following activity independently. There's no limit to the number of accounts you can track.

What's the difference between web app and extension?

The web app works on any device (mobile & desktop) but can only track public accounts. The browser extension is desktop-only but offers full features:

  • Track both public and private accounts (that you follow)
  • 100% free with no limitations

We recommend starting with the web app to try it out, then installing the extension for tracking private accounts.

How accurate is the tracking?

Our tracking is highly accurate. Activity is captured when you trigger a check by clicking the sync button. Each sync compares your current following list with the previous snapshot to detect any changes.

Important note: If someone temporarily deactivates their Instagram account, it may be detected as an unfollow. When they reactivate, it will appear as a new follow. This is a limitation of Instagram's system - deactivated accounts are indistinguishable from unfollows.

The tracking doesn't work, what should I do?

Chrome Extension: Make sure you are logged into Instagram in your Chrome browser before using the extension. You need to be signed in to Instagram.com for the extension to access the following data.

Historical Data: We can only track activity from the moment you start using Loyalty Lens. Any follows/unfollows that happened before your first sync cannot be detected.

Private Accounts: Private accounts cannot be tracked through the web app. With the Chrome extension, you can only track private accounts that you personally follow - if you don't follow them, their activity remains invisible.

Can I use it on mobile?

Yes! Use our web app here on any device including mobile phones and tablets. Note: The web app is limited to tracking public accounts only. For full features including private account tracking, use the desktop browser extension.

Will they know I'm tracking them?

No, the tracking is completely invisible. We don't interact with their account in any way. We only observe publicly available information that you could see manually.

How far back can I see their activity?

Tracking starts from the moment you begin tracking an account. We cannot show historical data from before you started tracking, but we will build a complete timeline going forward from that point.

Is this legal to use?

Yes, this is completely legal. We only track publicly available information that anyone can see by visiting Instagram. We don't hack or access private data.
